  • Championed DC Statehood

    by supporting, co-sponsoring, and voting for federal legislation granting statehood to the people of Washington, D.C.

  • Defended DC Home Rule

    by opposing and voting against federal legislation restricting, repealing, or interfering with Washington, D.C.’s limited home rule

  • Pledged Support Publicly

    by signing The D.C. Statehood Pledge to support admitting Washington, D.C. into the Union as a state of the United States of America
